Sourcing

We specialise in the procurement process for suitable and reliable suppliers and good quality materials.
As part of our service, all procurement of materials is done by ourselves to ensure that we are utilising only SABS approved and high end environmentally friendly materials.

Logistics

We manage all logistical aspects of each project, from providing and placing the right labour skills on site to ensuring materials are ordered and arrive as supply demands to ensuring the entire on site operation is running smoothly. Logistics start the moment we order materials, through transportation to keeping tight control on the inventory. Included in this process is import, vehicle and work permits and on site security. We also do all our own international land and sea transport from supplier to site.

Construction and Infrastructure

We specialise in construction in remote and challenging environments. This involves more than just building buildings. It is vitally important to provide a sustainable infrastructure that ensures the fluid functioning of the buildings in their context of use. Fresh is able to provide turnkey solutions that encompass the full energy and service elements of each project from its outset.

Working closely with recognized international service providers we are able to deliver customized and quality infrastructure solutions for the vital elements of remote development, including runways, access routes, water supply, reticulation and energy management and supply.

We specialise in wooden buildings, with many of our senior staff trained and schooled in Europe, with specific Scanadanavian focus on wooden house counstruction. We own all our own tools and equipment as well as transport vessels and vehicles. Naturally we are able to deliver the individual demands of each project irrespective of the design paradigm or materials.

Carpentry and Joinery

Since our first project in the Topuito Isles we have a fully operational carpentry factory and we can offer skilled carpentry and joinery, working with local African hardwoods. We are currently also setting up our own functional sawmill in Nampula Province, Northern Mozambique.

Training

Wherever we work we employ locally and are committed to training all new labour in skills in construction, bricklaying, plumbing, electrical work, carpentry and safety. We also train staff in English in countries where this isn't a first language, reading and writing skills as well as basic hospitality.
